Mitigate EMC issues before it is too late to change.

An EMC design review is more though than a risk assessment. It is typically performed with much of the same input as a risk assessment and takes longer. A written report is generated with specific suggestions along with a risk assessment grade for the design.

It is common for one or more WebEx, Cisco Spark or FaceTime video conference calls to be used during a Design Review.

To perform a design review we typically need a Bill of Material (BOM), schematic, PCB information and sometimes data on specific components. We do not need to understand a lot about how the device works. We do need to know the frequencies and edge rate of repetitive signals.
